ABOUT ME

Originally from Royal Oak Michigan, Shannon Wright is an experienced dancer and choreographer. A recent graduate from East Carolina University's School of Theatre and Dance, Shannon earned her BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography, graduating Magna Cum Laude with University Honors and National Dance Honors. She was also graciously Awarded the Outstanding Senior Dance Graduate for her work within and outside the BFA program.
While at ECU Shannon has trained under notable professors such as David Ingram, John Dixon, Teal Darkenwald, Danielle Sheather, Dirk Lumbard, Marissa Nesbit, and Galina Panova. She has performed in guest works by Matthew Lynady, Amy Vankirk and Megan Abadoo. She has participated in additional training with Trinity Laban Conservatoire UK, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Inaside Dance Chicago, Eisenhower Dance Detroit and Complexions Contemporary Ballet
